BioFicient media filter

Wastewater is treated in relatively small aeration tank partially filled with these moving bed media aerated filters. ("Hair Curlers"), providing a surface where a biofilm can grow. Oxygen is introduced via bubble diffused air also moving around the media.

The media design gives a high surface area which promotes the growth of bacteria and other organisms (biomass) which actively treat the wastewater.

Media is sold by the kilogram.

For BioFicient® 4 sewage treatment plants: 13.5kg

For BioFicient® 6 sewage treatment plants: 21kg

The warranty is subject to the product being used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
The dimensions given are approximate. The differences result from the production technology and method of use of the product.

Most accessories will be delivered within 1-3 working days. Deliveries are made to parcel machines or to a designated address specified by the Customer.
In the event of non-availability of the Goods, the Shop will inform the Customer of the expected delivery time and, in the case of paid orders, the Customer has the option to cancel the order with a full refund.
